The TMC Library is happy to announce that a collection of books and DVDs from the Harris County Public Library has returned to our building. The TMC Library has partnered with Harris County Public Library since 2011, serving as a community outpost with books and DVDs plus offering hold pickup and return. The book collection departed from the TMC Library in 2017 because of renovations and is now back on site and updated for the TMC community.
Harris County Public Library cards are available to all Texas residents and you can sign-up for a card at the TMC Library circulation desk. In addition to checkouts from all HCPL locations, your HCPL card also gives you access to complete online materials from HCPL, including Ancestry (library edition), Overdrive, LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com), and so much more.
The TMC Library/HCPL collection includes novels, non-fiction (including cookbooks, biography, and more), DVDs/Blu-Rays, and children’s and youth materials (board books, picture books, and young adult literature.) In addition to on-site materials, HCPL items can be delivered to the TMC Library for pickup by using the Place Hold option in theHarris County Library catalog and selecting the TMC Library. We will contact you when it is ready for pick up.
Stop by to choose something fun to read or watch. The collection is available for browsing and checkout during all TMC Library operating hours.
