You Can Still Lower Your 2016 Taxes
Once January 1st rolls around there are very limited options for minimizing your prior year taxes. One of the best options for lowering your taxes after the end of the year is to contribute to an IRA. You have until tax day (April 18th, 2017 this year) to contribute to an IRA for the prior year. For some taxpayers, contributing to an IRA could save thousands.
