Around the Office:
It's hard to believe it, but 2016 is in the books and we're roaring into 2017. January begins our busy season. W2's, 1099's, 1040's, K-1's, Schedule C, AMT; these are the things we worry about so our clients don't.

2017 may be a big year for tax reform, so be sure to keep an eye on your E2 Advisor for all the changes. Of course we're always here to help, so give us a call if you have any questions!
Monthly Tax Tip:

Don't Forget about 1099's

For our business clients, don't forget to issue 1099's to contractors you paid in 2016.  The IRS has identified non-filed 1099's as a huge source of fine money and began cracking down on non-compliance last year.  The requirements are unchanged from our 2016 blog, which you can find here.
Monthly Recipe
Seeing that January is the month of resolutions, and many of those resolutions involve losing weight, we decided to depart from the decadent and instead serve up something a little healthier.  This month's recipe, Spinach and Black Bean Enchiladas, is brought to you by Food Hero.
