Happy New Year from the team at The Apple Basket

Hi Everyone,
We are well into the New Year now and it is moving fast as usual.  We have just put in air conditioning in our classroom which will make summer classes more enjoyable and comfortable.  Lots of things happening here with new block of the month and lots of  classes coming up, including Tuffet Class, Wildflowers raw-edge applique class, knitted produce bags, sock knitting class, Tassell Cushion Class and much more.  We have started our Monday get together classes but remember to ring and book in as we do fill up fast with this one very quickly. We have also started our Handstitching get togethers.  See below for dates and photos.
Sit down with a coffee and enjoy our newsletter.

We have a large range of Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements fabrics in store and on line.  These are such beautiful fabric and are great for backgrounds for Collage Quilts, make lovely bags, scrap quilt backgrounds etc.

This beautiful quilt is made using two Dream Big Flower panels - one for the centre and one for the top and bottom border and binding.  You can go wild with your quilting on this quilt.  Our one quilted by Jenny Bailey - Kaiwaka Ph. 09 4312565
We are starting our Pfaff Club for 2019 on 20th February 9.30 - with this adorable cushion using assorted stitches, stitch sequencing, saving stitches, 9 hole cording foot, embroidery threads and using the metal stitch guide attachment.  This project will be just the thing to get you back into the machine stitching mode, and a good opportunity to learn more about your machine.  It doesn't matter what Pfaff model you have we can adjust this class to suit everyone.
