Dear Members and Friends,                             26 May 2022

Last week was National Volunteers Week. We commend and sincerely appreciate all our volunteers. This week I am in Israel attending the ICJW Conference. We listened to Prof. Yaron Ziv from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev School of Sustainability and Climate Change talk about our responsibility for the future of the planet for future generations. On Sunday join us to plant 300-400 plantings. Please follow what we are doing at the conference on the ICJW Facebook page.

On the 16 May 2022 Zoe Guenzl, Chair of our NCJWA NSW Youth Division, launched EMPOWER HER. The aim is to engage the NSW Young Adult Jewish Community in women's issues and advocacy. Please join us for our launch event, Celebrating Her Success! on Sunday 19 June, 10am - 12pm. We will be sitting down town with several successful women to discuss how they got to where they are and how we too can achieve our passions and goals!
