The Latest News & Views from the Apex Exhibitions Team

Seriously, will your exhibition stand actually sell anything?

You’re certainly hoping it will, because you wouldn’t be spending your company budget on it if it didn’t. However we have some bad news – exhibition stands don’t actually sell anything.

Creative exhibiting, sensible budget – let’s learn from LEGO

Not too long ago the choice was a cheap and cheerful modular stand or pop-up that looked just like everyone else’s, or to invest big money on a custom built stand, only to throw it in a skip after the show was over. Fortunately today, like LEGO, the world of exhibition stands is now very different.

Are exhibitors just paying social media lip service?

There's lots of pontificating about how great social media is when it comes to exhibitions. But the truth is, social media is drastically underused, and, in many cases incorrectly managed. However, with technology delivering more and more business benefits, social media should be a key weapon in every exhibitor's armoury.

Is your personal taste damaging your chances of exhibition success?

When it comes to exhibition stands, the truth is that too many exhibitors are swayed by their own personal tastes. And, while your likes and dislikes matter, without adopting a more strategic approach, these preferences could actually hinder your exhibition success.

Is this the future of exhibition tech?

When it comes to exhibitions, quirky tech is always an attention grabber. Taking a look at some new and emerging technology, we consider what the exhibition of tomorrow might look like. And what is already available to help you to engage and involve attendees at your next exhbition or tradeshow.
