Mowgli celebrated its 6th anniversary in January! This gave us an opportunity to reconnect with our vision of placing mentoring at the heart of entrepreneurship and leadership development, reflect on our growing Mowgli Family Network alumni base which currently stands at 1500+ across 11 MENA countries and the UK and define how we can further support them on their personal and business journeys.

We are extremely grateful for the energy, passion and commitment that has helped drive Mowgli to where it is today so that we can have the real impact that we strive to achieve. To get involved and be a part of the change, please get in touch with us at info@mowgli.org.uk

Mowgli completes 3-year British Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) project by enabling 118 new entrepreneurs and mentors to take part in Mowgli’s Kickstart workshop in Algeria in Q1 alone!
Over the course of Mowgli’s 3 year mentoring project in Algeria, in partnership with MedafCO, we have built a solid alumni base of 330+; training 141 new mentors and welcoming 25 back as repeat mentors to be matched with 166 budding entrepreneurs for their 12-month one-to-one mentoring relationships.  Impact data to date from these relationships show that 327 jobs have been created and safeguarded resulting in the average number of jobs created in Algeria, which equals 3, exceeding that of any other country in the region and the Mowgli average of 2.

Mentoring for Impact
"My Mowgli Journey started with the October 2010 session. It was a psychological leap forward, it helped me gain the needed confidence and overcome the fear that I am not suitable enough. It gave me the key to rearrange my personal and professional life, give up some issues to concentrate on the most fulfilling. I met great people I think they are friends for life." Huda Al Midani - Syria Oct 2010
“A fascinating experience of self-discovery just when I thought I'd seen it all. Not only was it gratifying to see that I was able to help somebody build a dream and move it from idea stage to execution but also to see this person slowly gain more confidence as pieces started falling into place.” Toufic Majdalani - Lebanon Oct 2011
