Where's my bus?

Months after Florida fully reopened, many riders are still waiting for their bus.
In March of 2020, the world changed. COVID impacted the lives of billions, and our three million Miami-Dade residents felt its effects as well. For transit riders however, the effect was felt much stronger.

That March, Miami-Dade Transit saw some of its worst cuts in its history. Service was cut back, capacities were reduced, and many were left stranded all while trying to keep the County's lights on as essential workers braving the pandemic.

While many aspects of normal life have returned—fares are back, most workers are back in the office, and capacity restrictions were lifted—but for many transit riders, they're left asking one thing: "Where's my bus?"

Big Turnout for Scooter Accountability

400+ reports and 300+ fixes later, Miami residents can now hold scooter operators accountable like never before.
MIAMI — Since December when we put together the Mobile Miami Coalition to address deficiencies in communication between the City, scooter operators, and the community, we have worked hard to bring change to the scooter program to improve the quality of live for urban core residents.

The Riders Alliance has been able to bring together all the players at the table and communicate effectively, even enforcing rules that go beyond what the City requires including no parking zones on river bridges and no parking zones on several plots of private property. We also held four scooter safety events in June to encourage riders to #ScootSafe and #ParkItLikeYouOwnIt.

You too can report a scooter if you see it breaking the rules! We'll validate and send it to operators. If they don't act promptly, the report will be added to their publicly visible grade. In our commitment to #OpenData and transparent governance, we publish all scooter data and compile metrics here on our Coalition site.

If you're a property manager who qualifies for a no parking zone (we'll help determine that), you can Request a Geofence on our website.
