President Update

Sunshine Challenge continues to shape up for 2019!
Already we have booked a location, signed a contract and obtained a room block. Tickets are on sale now for the event and pub crawl as well as hotel accommodations.
Sponsors are starting to commit as well. Already we have an awesome 15 gallon brew kettle from Spike Brewing (a $325 value), hops from Yakima Chief and items on the way from Omega Yeast, Blichmann/Anvil. Morebeer and Lagunitas Brewing!
We are working on a brewers panel for our speakers this year. So far we have Mike Bryant on the docket and others soon .

The theme this year is Homecoming! We'll have T-shirts on sale featuring logos and artwork from past Sunshine Challenges.

As always, this event cannot be accomplished without support from our club members. Currently the committee includes the board of directors and a Sunshine Committee of 6 others. We invite any and all club members to get involved as there is still much to do in order to make this years event a success. We are now about 12 weeks away and still so much to do.

Do you have a flair for decorating?  Are you an awesome organizer? We need you! Contact any of the board members for details.

Thank you all for your support!
2019 Stouts and Stogies
Stout and Stogie was another great success this year.
A big thank you to the Gilson's for hosting. You have such a lovely location and the set up was perfect.
We all enjoyed great food, good times, great beers and awesome friends!

Pints and Paws!
The club participated in this years Pints and Paws. We had 3 beers on tap, a Kolsch style from the Warwicks, Frank had his Vanilla Porter and John Sather had his Rauchbeir, plus some great Dunkel from Ally. We also had some tasty treats for our 4 legged friends compliments of Sandy Rossi!
The booth looked great and we had great feedback from the attendees.
Thanks to Danny and Missy for coming to help out as well as Frank Ferber!

Best Brew Days!
The Old Farmer’s Almanac says the best brew days for April is 1st, 2nd, 28th, 29th, 30th   So break out the gear and brew something amazing for Sunshine Challenge!
Speaking of Brew Days!
Brew in the Park is scheduled for April 13th at Don Knights Park!
