Parish Housing Needs Survey findings published

In March, Action with Communities in Rural Kent, in partnership with Boughton Aluph and Eastwell Parish Council and Ashford Borough Council, carried out a housing needs survey within our parish. You may remember completing the survey questionnaire. The aim of the survey was to identify if there is a housing need from local people, specifically the need for affordable housing and the housing needs of older people.
The final report, based on responses received, identifies a need for up to 13 affordable homes in the parish.

The Parish Council commissioned the survey in order to inform the Neighbourhood Plan process. Visit our website to download a copy of the report.

Your feedback

You can also give us your views on the developing Neighbourhood Plan on our website, To date, traffic is emerging as the number one concern for local people. Issues raised range from traffic speeding in residential areas to the potential impact of a new Thames crossing east of Dartford.
