A Photography Exhibition on Contemporary China

Tempo of China captures the energetic spirit of China in the perspective of compelling immediacy. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of subjects including spectacular landscapes and people of all ages and ethnicities; all shot by both professional and amateur photographers across China. The exhibition will deliver a harmony of brilliant colours and vivid prosperity of 21st Century China.

China Cultural Centre in Sydney signed a historic agreement with the Adelaide Festival Centre. Through this agreement, the Centres plans to continue bringing more high quality Chinese performances and visual art displays to Adelaide. The agreement was signed at the opening of “Stories of Life”, one of the China Cultural Centre in Sydney’s Happy New Year series events. “Stories of Life” is an Australian premiere exhibition of Chinese contemporary artwork by 13 China’s most excellent artists.Read More

AALITRA Translation Prize Entry Invitation

Sponsored by China Cultural Centre in Sydney, the Australia Association for Literature Translation (AALITRA) has now opened entries for the AALITRA Translation Prize. This year's focus language is Chinese, with prose test for translation by A Yi (阿乙) and poetry text by Rong Rong (荣荣). Entries close on 13 May 2016 (Friday)
