Hello, and welcome.  I'm excited to share lots of news with you... Buckle up!

I've gotten a number of chances to continue showing my choreography recently.  Last time we spoke, (okay, maybe not literally) I showed Event Space at Leah Stein's Studio Works.  In March, I was able to show orz at Meet The Naked Stark, the annual friendraiser for The Naked Stark.  These solos (and more!) will be compiled into an hour-long SoLow Fest performance at Performance Garage on June 17th!  In other news, fab dancers Marisa Illingworth and Margot Electra Steinberg performed Golden Era in May - this time at InHale/Exhale!  They danced and chit-chatted and earned donations for their beautiful work.  Bravo to these exceptional women!
Lately I've also had some great teaching opportunities!  In April, I was able teach the highest level of ballet at University of Iowa (#BalletIV, am I right?)  Andy Thierauf and I taught an electro-acoustic-and-also-improvisation-too masterclass at Temple University, and we were able to show excerpts of Let's Dancing, Corpus Notes, and trio.  We also led a "Pre-Concert Adventure" at the Kimmel Center (!), where we led way too many children in synchronized creation processes.  Cooler: We're super excited to have our evening-length show Blanc & Bonk presented at SMUSH Gallery in Jersey City this June!
Visible Structures is being performed by The Naked Stark this weekend!  I've been dancing in this project with director/choreographer Katherine Kiefer Stark for the past three-and-a-half years, so it's exciting for things to finally come to fruition with an amazing cast: Brionna Williams, Chloe Marie Newton, Harlee Trautman, Leanne Grieger, Marisa Illingworth, Melissa Chisena, and Peaches Jones!  There are five shows May 17th-May 20th... Come one, come all!
Nora Gibson Contemporary Ballet finished our residency, spring concert, and gala performance of HUMAN at Performance Garage!  Nora choreographed an almost-narrative quintet that may or may not focus on robots and artificial intelligence.  She also rendered video projections for the entirety of the work!  I got a shout out in the Broad Street Review: "Boyt especially made getting onto and off of the floor become a flowing part of the dance"  Thank god for that BFA!
Strange Dreams: 30 Years Later is coming up in June!  Anne-Marie Mulgrew & Dancers Company has been in the studio since last fall coming up with new material for the company's thirty-second (!) season (this year with guest artist Ashley Searles)!  I'm pictured here with fellow dancing fiends Kate Lombardi and Leslie Ann Pike in our tubes for Inflatable Dreams, one of the several works we'll be premiering at Performance Garage!

stb x at's collaboration with Darcy Lyons (Heaviness/Lightness) was performed at Lyons and Tigers's Pendulum at The Iron Factory!  The updated version upped the "Lightness" sections with laughs, tickles, and giggles galore.

Loren Groenendaal/Vervet Dance's day-long In The Light was performed close to the vernal equinox at Mascher Space.  We were also able to share a much-shorter excerpt at Scratch Night in April!  We continue this June for our longest performance yet... Ahhhhhh!
My trip to Iowa City in April acted as a mini-residency to recreate a duet Melinda Myers created on Lauren Linder and me.  40 years ago, 30 years from now will be shown in Seattle this June at Double Vision: Duets in Dance at YAW Theater!
