Office Announcements

We are happy to announce that our two new team members have officially joined our firm! Leslie Dermon is our Associate Financial Planner and Rachel Olson is our Client Services Associate. 

Leslie is a native of France and moved to the United States at age 19. She obtained a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in 2011 from Fresno Pacific University, and graduated in December 2013 from their Global MBA program. While in college, she took interest in Wealth Management and eventually discovered the evidenced-based approach to investing. During her spare time, Leslie enjoys outdoor activities and CrossFit. She likes to travel, read and play the piano.

Rachel comes to us from a diverse twelve-year career starting in healthcare then on to real estate and most recently at Orange County’s premier litigation firm. Rachel has acquired invaluable experience consisting of customer service, supporting executives, leadership and management of all office operations including staff. She loves spending time with her family and camping or hiking when possible. Her favorite hobbies include cooking new recipes and wine tasting with fellow wine lovers. Rachel married her high school sweetheart, Adam, and they reside in Midway City with their two weimaraners, Ruger and Duke.

The team recently spent the day at the Aliso Viejo Country Club reviewing last quarter goals and strategically planning the upcoming quarter’s goals.
They enjoyed celebrating the productive day and welcoming the new team members with a little bubbly!

Kevin will be attending a study group summit in Fresno in October where he will be presenting on “What to Do When a Loved One Dies” and “The Property and Casualty Review Process.” He has been a member of this study group for three years and values the best practices that are shared among the financial planners in the group.

Beth is home recovering from her foot surgery and looks forward to returning in early November!

Evelyn made the news where she was mentioned on CNBC’s website for an article on “Parents: Get Your Finances Ready for the FAFSA”

Mark recently spoke at the Financial Planning Association’s national conference in Baltimore where he discussed “Helping Divorcing Client’s See Past the Money.” He was also quoted in the latest Financial Planning Magazine.
