Take your COVID-19 shot inside Allegiant Stadium

Southern Nevadans will have the unique opportunity to get COVID-19 vaccines in Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, at clinics scheduled for Thursday, June 10 through Sunday, June 13 and Thursday, June 17 through Sunday, June 20.

The clinic will offer the Pfizer and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine beginning at 2 p.m. each day. The last appointments will be available until 7:45 p.m. each day. Appointments for the vaccines at this site are encouraged and will be available beginning June 1, at Walk-ins will be accommodated based on clinic capacity each day. The COVID-19 vaccines will be administered in the Modelo Cantina Club overlooking the field. People receiving the vaccine will receive a “rally towel” and have the opportunity to take a photo in a designated area.

“We are excited to offer another unique opportunity for Southern Nevadans to get the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Dr. Fermin Leguen, District Health Officer for the Southern Nevada Health District. “Our partners at Allegiant Stadium have supported our mitigation activities throughout the response, and I want to thank them for hosting this clinic and their contributions to our efforts to stop the pandemic. We need to keep encouraging people to get vaccinated and the ongoing support of our partners is vital to our continued success.”

COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and free, and now available to everyone 12 years of age and older. The Health District encourages everyone to get fully vaccinated. Children under the age of 18 must also have written consent from a parent or guardian at the time of services. The Health District’s policy is available on its website at

“We must do all that we can to encourage more people to get vaccinated in order to keep COVID-19 under control in this community,” said Clark County Commission Chairman Marilyn Kirkpatrick, who also serves as vice chair of the Southern Nevada Health District Board of Health. “I encourage everyone to get vaccinated at this event, at one of our local pharmacies, or at one of our many other public vaccination clinics.”

“We are hopeful that this rare opportunity to go inside Allegiant Stadium will motivate residents to get vaccinated,” said Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, whose district includes the stadium. “For anyone who has been waiting for the right time this unique experience will be safe, convenient, and free.”

Parking for people attending the COVID-19 vaccine clinic is available in Lots E and F of the stadium, and the clinic area can be accessed through the southeast entrance. People who may need assistance or children under the age of 18 may be accompanied by one additional person into the stadium. Allegiant Stadium’s bag policy can be found at  Bag check will not be available.

Anyone who is making an appointment for a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine needs to ensure it has been 21 days or more since their first dose. People who receive their first dose of Pfizer vaccine at the clinic and require a second dose will be able to get vaccinated at any Health District or community clinic offering the Pfizer vaccine.

COVID-19 testing is still important to slow the spread

COVID-19 testing is vital to identifying people who are infected so they can isolate themselves from others and interrupt the transmission of the virus. The Health District recommends testing for both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals. Testing is recommended for people who have symptoms of COVID-19; anyone who had close contact with someone who has a confirmed or possible case of COVID-19; people who were in a setting where they were exposed to a large group of people or people who were not wearing face coverings or not maintaining physical distance; and anyone who is planning to visit someone who is at high risk of illness, including people 65 years of age and older and people with serious medical conditions.
