This Saturday: The K&Ides of March!

We're meeting at the Big Four Bridge at 2:00pm on March 16th, and riding the newly contiguous Ohio River Greenway from Jeffersonville to New Albany

Working to transform Louisville's streets and neighborhoods into vibrant, active places where biking is safe and convenient for everyone.

Hello B4Lers!

We want to invite you to join us for a bike ride this weekend in support of opening the K&I Bridge between Portland and New Albany.

On Saturday, March 16th, we will be riding across the Big Four Bridge and then along the *newly contiguous* Ohio River Greenway from Jeffersonville to New Albany. Riders should plan to meet up on the Louisville side of the Big Four at 2:00pm.

Once in New Albany, our plan is to (1) examine and discuss the missing connectivity link at the K&I Bridge, and then (2) head to Pints & Union for beer, camaraderie, more discussing, and maybe a little griping! We will be heading back to Louisville around 4:30-5:00.

All are welcome! If you can't join the ride, please feel free to meet us at the New Albany base of the K&I (around 3:00) or at Pints & Union (around 3:30).

The ride itself is about 8 miles each way and mostly flat. A map of the Greenway route in Southern Indiana can be found here and below.

*No, this event is not a ride across the K&I Bridge. But it is a ride in support of creating that reality!*
