Yo yo yo B4Lers!
We want to make sure you're aware of (and know that you're invited to) all the awesome stuff we have planned over the next few days and weeks!

First off, please (please please!!) join us for our community meeting next Wednesday, April 26, 6:00-7:30pm to discuss two-way conversions in Shelby Park (and Germantown and Smoketown). We're co-hosting the event at The St. Catherine (729 E St. Catherine Street) with our friends from the Shelby Park Neighborhood Association. There is funding for these projects, but they need public support to see the light of day. Please (please please!!) join us for this discussion with representatives from Metro Public Works and Advanced Planning. RSVP here.

Secondly, it's the start of Derby season this week, which means we're kicking things off with bike parking at Thunder Over Louisville.  This year's going to be off the chain. We're setting up stations at six locations -- three in Louisville and three in Jeffersonville. Check out our map below for details!

Oh, and hey, there are tons of B4L-advocacy bike projects hitting the road this spring. Here's a short list:

  • Repaving of Brook Street bike lane (pics)
  • Hill Street road diet with buffered bike lanes (pics)
  • W Jefferson Street road diet with buffered bike lanes (pics)
  • Barret/Castlewood two-way protected bike lane (public meeting link)
  • Road diet of Oak/Winter Street in the Highlands
  • Lexington Road road diet and buffered bike lane (info link)

Get out and get yer ride on! (And join us next week at the two-way forum!!!!)
