DIVEST NY
Tuesday, April 30 from 10am to 2pm

Legislative Hearing on S2126 and A1536, bills that would require New York State to divest it's pension fund from fossil fuels. Not only is it imperative that we stop funding fossil fuels that are destroying the planet, but financially, it is irresponsible to invest in gas, oil and coal when the world is committed to transitioning to renewable energy.

Senator Krueger and Assemblymember Ortiz are holding a hearing on Tuesday, April 30 from 10am to 2pm in the Legislative Office Building in Albany NY. Divest NY hopes to fill the room to show support for this legislation. You may also want to submit written testimony or attend a few lobby meetings in the afternoon.
