Lobby Day
100% Renewable New York

Tuesday, May 8
9:30 am – 3:30 pm
State Capitol, Albany

Call on our state legislators to move New York off fossil fuels! On May 8, join us in Albany to advocate for a bill to ban fracking infrastructure and shift New York to 100 percent renewable energy by 2030. Over 180 organizations already back the most ambitious climate bill in the state, but we need your voice in building more support.

A briefing will be held 9:30 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church (85 Chestnut Street), after which we’ll be at the Capitol for a rally (at 11:00 AM) followed by lobby visits until l3:30 pm.

US Supreme Court Upheld NY State's Denial of Constitution Pipeline

The U.S. Supreme Court has denied Constitution Pipeline's request to challenge New York’s regulatory authority to deny the project a water quality certificate. Proving once again that state government can actually defend its own environment if the powers that be are willing to fight.
