XTB Price Sheets

XTB Q2 2019 Performance Reports

Another quarter of strong performance from XTB portfolios

XTB portfolios continue to deliver. Performance reports to 30 June 2019 for each of the recommended XTB portfolios are now available.

When considering fixed rate bond securities, please note performance of fixed rate bonds has been positively impacted by recent interest rate cuts. Whilst there is an expectation of further interest rate cuts, as evidenced by the futures market pricing, if the interest rate cycle turns, it is likely that the performance of fixed rate bonds will be negatively impacted. Past performance is no guarantee of future performance.

Where do we go from here?

Venture into riskier territory or lock in a predictable return today?

We've seen a first half year of stellar market performance accompanied by a rush of money to new ASX investments that aren’t completely transparent. Now, the most common question we're hearing is, ‘where do we go from here?’

In our view, known outcomes and diversification across all asset classes have never been more important. The following 3 points may be key to investment selection moving forwards:

  1. Investments that are transparent
  2. Are easy to explain to clients
  3. That perform the way they are expected to in different market conditions.

Don't forget with XTBs you can lock in a rate today, but trade out if your client needs to, or if a further rate cut offers a capital gain.

XTB FY19 Tax Guide

Helping to make tax time less taxing

For those with clients who have already invested in XTBs, our FY19 Tax Guide has been developed to assist with their tax returns. The XTB Tax Guide provides a general summary of the Australian tax implications of an investment in XTBs by an Australian investor. It is a guide, so investors should consider consulting a professional when completing their tax return.
