The paperwork has gone out, the schedules are beginning to be drawn up, and spring is on its way!
Rider Paperwork
Emailed to Families
The Rider's paperwork received a major overhaul from past forms, mainly due to recommendations from PATH Intl.   Because of this, we ask parents to really look them over while filling them out.

On our registration form, we ask parents for a general health overview for each rider, so that those that know them best can give us current information.  We also have a new and more comprehensive liability release form; a new release of information form (this only needs to be filled out if you would like us to speak with a therapist, school professional, or physician - otherwise it can be ignored); and a seizure information form (which only needs to be filled out by those that have had a seizure within the last 5 years.)  Also included are physician forms (that need to be signed every other year unless medically necessary for more often) and emergency forms.

I will be starting to schedule classes starting March 16th and will contact families by the beginning of April with class days and times.

The volunteer paperwork has also been updated with many changes - so we will need to have all of our returning volunteers fill them out.  We can start the season with the old forms on file, but we will want them updated as soon into the season as we can.

I will be scheduling the Volunteers starting next week, and will contact everyone by the beginning of April to let them know where and when we have them scheduled.  We will need to get a lot of new volunteers as well, so if you know of anyone that might be interested, please have them contact the Ranch. There will be posters as a .pdf on our website by the end of the week, if you know of anyplace that they could be posted, please feel free to do so.

We will be having New Volunteer Training days on Saturdays:  April 4th (10 am - 1 pm); April 11th (1 pm - 4 pm); April 25th (10 am - 1 pm).  If these classes fill up, we will expand to other days, but we need to get at least 10 volunteers per training before i can do that.  If a new volunteer cannot make it on those days, I will make arrangements on a case by case basis.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers!  We are all looking forward to seeing you again soon!
Majestic Hills Ranch is hosting a new event this year to be held at Canterbury Park. This springtime adventure will be on Saturday, June 27th from 12:30 pm through 4:30 pm.  It will include a buffet luncheon, silent auction items to bid on, and live horse racing.  We are hoping to draw in folks that are not as familiar with our programs but that might enjoy an afternoon of excitement.

Individual tickets are available to be purchased on-line and we are looking for businesses or individuals that would want to be sponsors for this event.  Tickets are $65 each and will include admission to Canterbury Park, a regular racing program, and a buffet luncheon of grilled chicken, sliced roast beef, potatoes, coleslaw, watermelon, and  apple crisp in the Silks Restaurant.  We will have a slide show presentation showing our riders hard at work during the meal, and you can mingle with our staff, some board members, and riders that are able to come.

As we get sponsors and items donated for our silent auction, our website will be updated so we can thank all who support our programs.

Please join us for this new escapade and delight in the fun!

At the request of a few folks, I created a 2015 Wall Calendar featuring the Horses of MHR.  I have just a few left, so please let me know if you would be interested in buying one (or more!)  They are $13 each and the money we make on these will help us purchase new toys for the programs to use (new rings, turtles and frogs.)  I can mail these out (shipping has been around $4.50 for envelope and postage) and you can enjoy some lovely photos taken by some of our boarders and volunteers.
