The Waterfront Publishes Strategic Plan

The BIA's Strategic Framework and Tactical Plan is the culmination of a 5-month process.  The Plan provides an overview of challenges and opportunities, as well as tactics to guide future BIA initiatives.

The Danforth Recognized with Exceptional Volunteer Award

The Danforth BIA Thrill of the Grill subcommittee was recognized for their outstanding work by MP Julie Dabrusin as part of Canada 150 celebrations.  Through the efforts of the subcommittee $125,000 has been donated to Sunnybrook HSC over the past 5 years for kidney cancer research.

Downtown Yonge Nominated for Heritage Toronto Award

Commissioned in the fall of 2016, the 22-storey mural by artist Adrian Hayles is a tribute to Yonge Street's celebrated music heritage.

Bloor Street Bike Lanes Economic Impact Study

Economic Impact Study of the Bloor Street Bike Lanes, funded in part by the Bloor Annex and Korea Town BIAs, is the first study in Toronto to examine the local economic impact of a major streetscape change.
