SurfAid Cup Reflections
Wave Changer and NOTOX joined forces at the SurfAid Cup last weekend in Manly, Australia. Despite the dodgy weather, there was enough swell to make it a fun and competitive event!

Our team raised an impressive $4,045 as part of the overall event total of $147,360 raised for SurfAid and their programs - bringing healthcare, clean water and food security to families in the heartlands of surfing in under-developed countries that desperately need support. Thank You to those who made a donation.

Salt Joy  Documentary Out Now
Local film maker and friend of ours, Tim Keith, last week launched his new documentary Salt Joy. It beautifully captures a local swimming community as they use the power of the ocean to alleviate mental health concerns, make friends and feel invigorated. Check out the trailer here and then rent the film for a low fee (just AU$4) to support a local creative.

"During the first lockdown I decided to keep busy and produce a documentary - Was a massive journey for me on many levels, but really happy to have finally completed this project. Being a passionate surfer and ocean lover myself, and knowing how important the salt water is in my life, I wanted to see what it meant to this special swimming community."

How about a Green Tax? Auckland NZ is leading the way by introducing this common sense initiative.
