Sudbury Nordic Racers Report
In December the team travelled to Ocup #1 in Ottawa with many strong results and personal bests! This was the first provincial race in over a year! We would like to congratulate Walden Nordic athlete Callum Wiss for a strong weekend of racing, winning both events over the weekend in the U14 category.
Unfortunately with COVID continuing to make a strong showing January Ontario Cups in both Sudbury and Thunder Bay were cancelled. Despite this the team has been busy training. Recently, the team held 100m sprint races in conjunction with the Laurentian Varsity Nordic Ski Team. This upcoming weekend the team will be headed to Sault Ste Marie for an NOD training camp before departing for Ocup #4 in Ottawa from Feb 9-13th.
