Lene McCollum joins the Blossoms Team 

Join us in a warm Blossoms welcome for Ellene “Lene” McCollum, our new Administrative Coordinator. Lene, proud mom to three boys—Evan (11), Cooper (9) and Ashton (5)-- is a very active parent volunteer and leader in the Columbia community and the founder of a home-based bakery business—Not Your Everyday Cookie. She comes to Howard County from Texas. 

Coming Soon: Enchanted Forest Cherrybration Days 

Help celebrate the beginning of this year’s Cherrybration Days on April 11 & 12 ay Clark’s Elioak Farm. Bring your little princesses, in costume, for a photo op with Princess Cherrybella and a Truly Pink Treasure Hunt. Remember: a portion of weekend’s proceeds go to our work and causes. ...And don't forget Blossoms' 6th Annual Art Show

This exhibit, featuring 45 artists, starts on April 16 and runs through May 3 at the Columbia Art Center Galleries. The show presents variations on the theme “Portraits and Profiles: Inspirations in My Life.” A gala reception and awards ceremony will be held on April 17 and will include a poetry reading and musical performance. We hope to see you at this annual Cherrybration event. More info at
Our mission is to plant cherry trees and other trees and shrubbery that will beautify public property in parks and local communities in Howard County, Maryland and to raise funds to be distributed to the Howard County Hospital Foundation for the Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center and to other charities.
