Monetas in the 2016 FinTech50 List: Game-changers Transforming the Future of Finance

The highly anticipated 2016 FinTech50 list was announced at Money 2020 this week. We are thrilled that Monetas has been selected as one of the most innovative fintech companies in Europe, competing against more than 1200 others. 
As featured in the Telegraph, this list recognizes ‘the 50 technology stars changing the way we spend and save.' As one of the few cryptofinance companies included on the list, the announcement is a welcome recognition of our game-changing technology and progress within the mobile payments industry towards a future of global financial inclusion.

European Fintech Awards and Innovate Finance Global Summit

Monetas will join the world’s fintech leaders in London next week at the Innovate Finance Global SummitRepresenting the Swiss fintech sector, we will present our technology and business to a global audience.  

In addition, we have been shortlisted for the European Fintech Award. CMO Vitus Ammann is giving the final pitch next week in Amsterdam, where he will also take part in a financial inclusion panel discussion alongside the Omidyar NetworkLloyds Banking Group, and renowned venture capitalists.

Founder and CEO Johann Gevers was recently invited to present the keynote at the Swiss National Bank annual conference on the benefits of cryptofinance technologies for financial services. The keynote garnered wide attention across Swiss financial media, including an article in Le Temps and an interview with Cash, the biggest financial news website in Switzerland.
