IDEATE | INNOVATE | CO-CREATE

Thank you CAMTech Network!

As I reflect back on the past year, I am inspired and honored by the many ways you have engaged with CAMTech to improve health in low- and middle-income countries. By working together through an open innovation platform, we accomplished some important goals. Together, we catalyzed a new group of technologies and products to improve global road safety; we developed a new pipeline of innovations to address preventable deaths for women and children in India; we sourced and supported several teams of innovators whose technologies will impact health and economic development in Uganda and East Africa; we started an important dialogue about the need to innovate for the diabetes epidemic in India and beyond; and we launched the online CAMTech Innovation Platform (CIP) to ensure global health innovators everywhere are supported with the necessary tools to move their work closer toward commercialization and patient impact. While there's still much work to do, we're so happy to recognize the important progress made throughout 2015.

On behalf of the entire CAMTech team, I want to thank all of our supporters who make our work possible, as well as our corporate sponsors, who have an important role to play in building this global medtech innovation ecosystem. Most importantly, I want to thank all of our innovators, expert mentors and partners who work tirelessly every day to develop innovations that will improve health on a global scale.

I encourage you to hear some of the inspiring stories of CAMTech’s entrepreneurs and innovations, and if you would like to make a holiday donation to support more innovators making a difference in global health, please click here

Wishing you a joyous and peaceful holiday season,

-Elizabeth Bailey, Director, CAMTech
