I am honored to lead our organization forward as the new Director of CAMTech. Since 2012, Elizabeth Bailey’s leadership has propelled us to global impact and tremendous growth. We are indebted to her vision and guidance, and fortunate that she will continue to offer her expertise as CAMTech’s Director of Corporate Partnerships. We are also thrilled to welcome Sandra Butler as our Senior Manager of Global Business Strategy to further develop our program’s domestic and international efforts across the medtech innovation ecosystem.
This year has kicked-off in full force with several events and initiatives already underway:
Our team just returned to Boston from New Delhi where we trained five CAMTech-X Ambassadors to lead the upcoming CAMTech-X Jugaadathon in their respective cities.
We co-hosted the Opioid Epidemic Post-Hack-a-thon Award Presentations with the GE Foundation.
Selection is underway for the $25k award winner of the First Mile Innovation Challenge, which garnered nearly 100 proposals from innovators in 16 countries working to improve global primary care.
We published the a new report on the power behind the hack-a-thon model to propel health innovations towards impact.
As Elizabeth Bailey has continued to remind us, “none of us is as smart as all of us." So thank you for your continued commitment to working together to accelerate medtech innovation around the globe. Enjoy the latest CAMTech Pulse!
