What's been happening at Auckland’s Port SEPTEMBER 2015

Thanks for visiting us at
SeePort 2015!

We welcomed 65,000 people on to Captain Cook wharf during our annual open weekend earlier this year - more than three times the amount that visited us in 2014!

We hold SeePort annually to give Aucklanders a chance to celebrate our vibrant waterfront and have a bit of fun while doing it.

Check out our video and photo album from SeePort 2015.

If you're a regular visitor to SeePort, you'll be glad to know that our 2016 event is already underway and will take place over Auckland Anniversary Weekend (January 30 - February 1).

We'll be returning with amusement rides, displays from our maritime partners, great food and our popular free bus and boat tours. We've also locked in a visit from the Navy vessel WELLINGTON and have more exciting attractions in the works.

See you at SeePort!

Our performance

2014/2015 Annual Results

Our team have had a busy year rebuilding container volumes following last year's record performance, continuing our productivity improvements and advancing a range of strategic initiatives that we believe are necessary to continue to achieve our objectives.

Our group revenue was $218.3m up from $221.2m last year which reflects increased volume in all areas, although a number of factors have contributed to increased costs and lower profit. We declared a $41.7m dividend to Auckland, a result which we're very pleased with.

Productivity at our container terminal has been the shining star in our performance this year - the most recent container port productivity figures, published by the Ministry of Transport, show that in the April-June quarter of 2015 we were the best performing container port in the country on all three performance measures.
