White Coats for Black Lives will be holding its monthly organizing call on Saturday, November 21 at 4:00 PM EST. This meeting will include political education and time to discuss the Racial Justice Report Card. We will also be sharing strategies between institutions and talking about how we can organize ourselves most effectively to fight for racial justice in medicine. We hope that every chapter will be able to have at least one representative on the call! We also welcome new participants who are interested in learning about the work of White Coats for Black Lives.
As a reminder, White Coats for Black Lives monthly calls are a space for medical students and house staff to strategize about organizing within their role group. If you are an attending, medical school professor/dean, or hospital administrator, we suggest that you reach out directly to your local chapter to find out how best to support medical students and house staff at your institution.
