Palm Sunday Walk, 10 April 2022

We will be joining the Local Government Mayoral Taskforce Supporting People Seeking Asylum to participate in the Palm Sunday Walk for Justice for Refugees.
Marching under the ‘Back Your Neighbour’ campaign banner, Councils will unite in their support for people seeking asylum to ensure people who have fled persecution receive the necessary supports they require to live a safe and secure future.
Join us at the State Library of Victoria from 2pm, Sunday 10 April. For more information, view the Facebook event.

Kingston Cultural Diversity Week 2022

Kingston Cultural Diversity Week, through a small grants program, supported 6 community cultural celebrations. Members of the community enjoyed the opportunity to get out and about again, meet with people and celebrate cultural diversity.

the Kingston Interfaith Harmony picnic also had a great turn out and everyone, including those just visiting Bicentennial Park, enjoyed the dancing from the Pilipino group and ice cream!

Help us draft Kingston's Open Space Strategy

The Open Space Strategy is out for community consultation and we would love to hear from different communities and groups.

Kingston's diverse range of open spaces includes parks, reserves, wetlands, grasslands, sports grounds, activity centres, waterways and foreshore. We'd love to hear from you to help develop a Draft Open Space Strategy. How can we improve your experience in our open spaces?

Submit your feedback on the Your Kingston Your Say website before Monday 18 April.
