I have always been a sucker for a great love story. When I first interviewed business journalist Suzy Welch years ago, I immediately understood why business icon Jack Welch had fallen for her. I had fallen for her too. We kept in close touch since, and today I am beyond excited to share Suzy’s story with you. This is her first interview
since Jack passed away and Suzy brings her trademark candor, wisdom and heart to the conversation. We figured that the holidays were the perfect time to come out with this heartwarming story.
When it comes to your story, I imagine it is going to be at least a little bit different this year. Travel is off the table, social gatherings are not happening and so much of the togetherness that we associate with the season is nonexistent. In lieu of that, we have to make do with what we do have, whether it be good books, phone calls, board games, or lazy mornings. And it is also hard to believe that one in four Americans is going hungry right now. One thing that brings out the joy in all of us is giving. Here is a site
that allows you to donate directly to your local food bank - a way to make an immediate and meaningful difference.
Sending you all big love, health and strength this holiday season and always,
p.s. I will be taking next week off newsletter writing and resuming on Thursday, January 7th.
