Vincent Tractors and Plant - New Name for Cornish Machinery Supplier

In June Vincent Tractors announced that after 52 years it was changing it's name to Vincent Tractors and Plant to better reflect the nature of the business.

Managing Director Paul Vincent said "Over the past 52 years the business has grown tremendously, from selling reconditioned tractors to now supplying a vast range of agricultural, groundcare and plant machinery.  We decided to change the name to better reflect what is a very important part of our business and to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to our construction customers”.

Royal Cornwall Show 2018

Thank you to everyone who called onto our stand during the Royal Cornwall Show 2018.  It proved to be a very busy three days.

Visitors to the stand were able to see a wide range of products from a number of different manufacturers including Kubota, Manitou, Ifor Williams, Stiga and many more.
On the Thursday Vincent Tractors and Plant were involved in the Prince's Countryside Parade which was a special celebration of HRH The Prince of Wales’s contribution to the countryside, environment and rural communities in the UK.

The parade was led by a Kubota M7 tractor driven by one of Vincent Tractors and Plant's apprentices.
We also supplied a couple of quad bikes for beneficiaries of funding from The Prince's Countryside Fund to use during the parade.
We were delighted to win a Commended in the Machinery Competition for the HOAF Thermhit 75 attachment that can go onto a Kersten two wheel tractor.

This is an ideal product for treating weeds without having to use chemicals.

If you would like to know more about this product speak to the Groundcare reps who will be happy to answer your questions.

Kubota RA2072 Twin Rake Review

Penryn farmer Stuart Cave bought his Kubota RA2072 twin rake early 2017 to replace an old rake.  Coming into the second summer of use he has nothing but praise for it.

"I like the fact that it is hydraulically adjustable between 6.3 and 7.2m.  The way it folds up makes it easily transportable which is essential on some of these Cornish lanes.  The tandem axle allows the rake to follow the ground contours and the steering axle follows the tractor perfectly.  All in all it does a superb job and presents a perfect swath for the round baler."
