Mirror Mirror...
Do you feel like time is flying by and you are not at a point in your life where you want to be? Look in the mirror my friend.

"NO ONE SAVES US BUT OURSELVES, NO ONE CAN AND NO ONE MAY. WE OURSELVES MUST WALK THE PATH."  BUDDHA 

Look in the mirror and get REAL with yourself. R.E.A.L. is an acronym I use with clients and it breaks down like this. 

R is for REALIZE - realize where you are in your life
E is for ENVISION - envision where you want to be 
A is for ACCEPT - accept responsibility, forgive, let go and move on
L is for LIVE - Live your best life - take it back, own it and make it what you want 

So that all sounds well and good but how do you get there? How do you make getting REAL your reality?  First, commit to yourself, share with your partner or best friend or family. Don’t let anything get in your way. This is YOUR life. Make no excuses. This is not a competition with anyone else so don't look at others and compare. Look in the mirror and get REAL.  

Second, start a daily routine that becomes your daily habit. Below is my list of daily habits. Maybe use this or make one up that works for you. It takes at least 2 weeks for a routine to become habit. Those daily routines we start to do become habits and those habits become lifestyle. Your lifestyle is up to you. Make it your best! 

RED’s 15 Daily Habits 
BREATHE deeply and slowly to start your day with intention. Journal and meditate if you can work it in. Find stillness in your life. SMILE and let it brighten up your space where ever you are and feel the smiles come back to you. OPEN up your heart and mind to the day ahead. FORGIVE yourself if you need to so you can move forward and forgive others so you can let go. WATER yourself in the morning and continue throughout the day.MOVE anyway you can to get your blood flowing. Get exercise into your day. CONNECT with a loved one, give a hug or reach out to another human that needs it. Remember the power of human connection and nourish yourself in this area. CHOOSE to be positive, to be accountable to your goals and to your intentions.RAINBOW your plate—eating a rainbow of fresh produce and help you get all the nutrients your body needs. CHEW your food and your thoughts. Be PRESENT throughout the day to own your moments being mindful and aware of your inner voice, your thoughts, your words, your actions and others around you. LOVE yourself unconditionally and love one another. Be GRATEFUL as gratefulness begets more grateful situations. Live with GRACE and practice grace. Whatever your religion, take time to pray and be aware of the presence of GOD in the world around you.

No one is perfect and we all have our good days and not so good days. Don't let that stop you from moving forward. Take the nice weather as an opportunity to get outside, go for a walk or simply sit outside, whatever it is, just be present and get REAL with yourself. This time of year is great for taking everything in around you, dreaming and planning. Don't wait for the rush of holidays and new years resolutions to start. You got this. I know you do!  Its been REAL 😉
