Dear Friend:
I can help!
I need your help. Even in this time of quarantine, partisan politics are getting in the way of sound health policies and actions. This is a time we all should focus on solutions, not blame. Today, I am asking for your help. (If you’ve given already, thank you. Pass this along to your friends.)
I ran on a platform of:
  • Fully funding education
  • Sound fiscal policy with a balanced tax plan
  • Investment in infrastructure
  • Compassionate healthcare policy.
As you know, I have delivered on those promises and continue to fight for common sense solutions. The opposition disagrees and wants to revert back to tax policies that pick winners and losers, schools that are not fully funded, irresponsible fiscal policies that only rack up more debt and health policies that hurt the most vulnerable.
Once again the Kansas financial situation will be our biggest issue in the next session. I want to be there to help our economy get going again with fiscal responsibility. Can you budget 77 cents a day for my campaign? That’s $50 between now and the primary election. Any and all contributions are valuable. Even $5 buys a yard sign.

About the 20th

Campaigns are expensive and 2020 looks to be even more so with the divisiveness we face both nationally and in Kansas. I am known in Topeka for working to ease divisiveness both across the aisle and within my party in order to make good things happen in Kansas. I have an opponent from the right in the August 4, primary and an opponent from the left in the November general election. That’s a sign I am doing the job for the vast majority of us who are not extremist.
I know you value these traits and I ask for your financial support in the 2020 election. Please send your contribution ($5 to $500) to:  Kessinger4Kansas, 12605 Walmer St., Overland Park, KS  66209; or go to and donate online.
Your visible support is also important. If you would like a yard sign, reply to this email (or click here and scroll down) and we will get one to you. If you’d like to volunteer to make calls or walk your neighborhood, email me.
Please call me with questions or concerns, at 913-275-4790.  Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.

Jan H Kessinger
State Representative
Kansas House District 20

PS:  Please encourage your friends to contribute as well. In a world with too many extremes, we need to maintain a moderate voice in Topeka.
