Dear Friend:
Many candidates refuse video interviews and forums due to their off-the-cuff nature. I am grateful to my opponent for participating as it shows the stark difference between our understanding of facts beyond talking points. I look forward to taking this common sense approach back to Topeka to continue this important work!

PLEASE take time to watch this video of the Kansas City Star forum to see the stark difference between fact and fiction. This is the most strongly worded endorsement I have seen:
Health Care Professionals:

Thanks to the health professionals at the Kansas Hospital Association for their strong support. If you know a doctor, nurse, allied health professional, or a hospital staffer, please share this information with them!

Senate District 11 Resources:

If you see signs like this, or if your sign is stolen, please reply to this message so I can add them to the police report I filed:
Always Working for You:

Our team has reached out to 12,000 households in the last six months, with masks and 6’ for the last four months. This race is NOT a done deal, regardless of my signs you see in neighbors’ yards and my opponent’s signs you see on street corners. PLEASE do not be a “oh, I figured you would win, John” kind of voter. Unless, that is, you want Brownback Math again. This is what happened in the 2012 elections and it began a decade of financial disaster for our state. I ask for your vote ASAP:
  • Did you know that campaigns take you off their advertising lists once you’ve voted? Get everyone in your house to mail it in or vote in-person this week, and your mail will clear up by next week!
Brownback-Melcher-Warren Math

Here's a helpful reminder of our past (2010-2016) and what going back to that time will mean. We've already been there, we know how that went!
COVID-19 Update

Do you know someone with COVID? We are getting to the point in Kansas that the “6 degrees of separation” is getting closer and closer to us. As I mentioned in the forum above, my 21-year old granddaughter tested positive. She is diabetic so is under close watch.

Of 105 counties in Kansas, there are:
  • Three counties have more than 3,500 cases (SG, JO, WY)
  • 81 counties with less than 100 cases.
  • Two counties have 0 cases (RA, WA)
Be kind to each other,

Sincerely,

John Skubal
Kansas State Senator
District 11
Representing Overland Park & Leawood
