Have a great summer!

Our newsletter will take a small recess until September unless something urgent takes place.

A letter regarding St. Gertrude School will be mailed to the affected neighbourhood shortly, discussing possible uses for the property and building. Nothing will happen until the Board of Education closes the school in 2017 and a public meeting is held to discuss what can be done with the property.

Best wishes for a safe and happy summer!

Peel Region Asks Customers to Use Water Wisely

Residents and businesses in Peel may continue their current water use practices, but are asked to use water wisely and efficiently given the low levels of rain in recent weeks. Peel staff continue to monitor the weather and source water conditions comparing them against demand, system capacity and reservoir levels. While reservoir levels are stable, if drought conditions persist and they'e unable to maintain reservoir levels, staff may look at more formal water restrictions.

Find Your Property Tax Bill Online

The City of Mississauga now offers property owners the convenience of viewing their interim and final property tax bills online through eBill. Anyone registering for eBill will receive confirmation via email. When the interim and final property tax bills are issued, an email will advise that the tax bill is ready to be viewed on the City's Tax Self-Service website, starting with the 2017 interim bill. A Tax PIN is required in order to sign up. Anyone who does not have a Tax PIN can request one on the Tax-Self Service website. Please note that eBill recipients will no longer receive a paper copy through regular mail.

Those who are on pre-authorized payment plans will be able to see their online bill in December 2016. Others will get access in February 2017.
