Exciting Times Ahead!

We're busy raising funds to locate our playground full of castles right beside our newly-painted Arena (Spring 2016). Construction for the playground will begin Spring 2017, before the new plans for Wildwood Park are started.

Preparations have begun for an even bigger fireworks display at Westwood Square for Canada Day and Malton will have our very own Santa Claus Parade on November 27, 2016. Mark that date on your calendar, when Santa Claus comes to the village!

CIMT| Canadian Institute of Management and Technology

We had a visit recently from the good folks at CIMT college in Malton. They wanted to catch Councillor Parrish in action with her Director of Operations, Danny Singh.

With a high success rate of students finding jobs after graduation, we would like to thank CIMT college for their achievements in education, their dedication to the Malton community and their contributions to Malton's Canada Day Celebration.

Goreway Bridge Construction

Councillor Parrish is committed to seeing the construction of Goreway Bridge through to completion. MPP and Minister of Finance Charles Sousa has assured us that progress is being made with a necessary land exchange in the works. This will start a process of relocating hydro and other utilities, a detour of the CN Rail tracks and the beginning of a long overdue bridge.

This important piece of infrastructure will finally alleviate horrible traffic delays.
