May Newsletter
Well done to those of you who have run a marathon this month. Several WAC members ran at Brighton and London in some very good times and many also raised a lot of money for various charities. So well done all!
You may remember that we recently voted for the Club charity for the year and I'm pleased to announce that the winner was "Starthrowers" - a cancer support charity based in Wymondham. So any money raised by WAC for charity this year will go to this worthy cause.
Finally, just a reminder that track sessions at Hethersett on a Thursday evening have started again - more information below. These sessions are for absolutely anybody to take part in regardless of which group you run with on a Monday. Look forward to seeing you there!

Summer Track Session
Thursday night track sessions have now started at the Old Hall School, Norwich Road, Hethersett NR9 3DW. Using the "In" gate (the one nearest Wymondham), turn left and drive to the end to park. Then walk past the Sports Hall and across the grassed area to reach the track. The session starts at 6:30 and is open to everyone of whatever ability. As we just run round a track, no-one can get left behind! Have a look at the programme available on the WAC website.

2017 AGM
WAC's 2017 AGM will be held at 6:45 pm on Monday, 15 May 2017, at Wymondham Rugby Club. This should take no longer than 30 minutes, leaving plenty of time for a run afterwards.
Several people are standing down from the Committee, so we really need new people to volunteer. We meet just once a month on a Tuesday, usually at The Feathers in Wymondham. If you feel you could give some time to help the club, please speak to Tony or any other member of the Committee.
If there's anything you'd like put on the agenda please speak to Dave Hazelton.
