Remember our Veterans

Tune in to the State of Minnesota Veterans Day Virtual Event

An Official State of Minnesota Veterans Day Program will be held virtually this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. A 30-minute recorded program will be available starting at 8 am on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11 on the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs website at The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) invites all Minnesotans to celebrate and honor all Veterans who have served our state and country. As well, the Activity Center will not be hosting a Salute to Veteran program to honor veterans this November. We do want to take this opportunity to thank the many veterans and current military personnel who have served our country and our freedoms. As a fond memory of last year's Salute to Veterans program, here is a look back at the 2019 Quilts of Valor presentation of quilts given to each veteran present.

Cardio or Calm

We all recognize the importance of staying healthy and building our immunity during this time. Regular exercise opportunities and supportive fitness instructors are available to help guide you each week. Whether you want to get in a full body cardio, core and strength workout, or start your day with a calm and relaxing stretching and meditative yoga routine, the Activity Center has a class style for you. Find a class to try out at and get registered!

Note: There is no Friday Yoga class this week, November 13.
