Post-2015 Network

12 JUNE 2015
Message from the TAP Coordinators: TAPping into the Network on our final push around Post-2015 and FfD3

Dear TAP Friends,

The busiest months of this whole Post-2015 process are upon us, and thanks to your hard work and contributions to our joint advocacy through the TAP Network, we're in as good of a position to impact these processes as ever before.

We've sent around the draft of the TAP Network's Response to the Post-2015 "Zero Draft, which you can contribute to here. Additionally, you may wish to contribute to a compendium of language edits/suggestions from individual TAP Organizations, which will complement this joint response we are putting together. As always, your inputs and endorsements are what drive the substantive work of the TAP Network, and our job as Coordinators are not possible without it.

This next week coming up will be a critical moment for us to lay the foundation for our advocacy work over the next month and more of key meetings around the Post-2015 and Financing for Development Processes. Next week will be the Third (and final) Drafting Session of the Outcome Document for the FfD3 Conference, which will mark the beginning of our final push on our advocacy around this particular process. The Post-2015 intergovernmental negotiations will be held the following week, with the HLPF and ECOSOC High-level segment following directly after that. Finally, the FfD3 Conference will arrive right on the heels of the conclusion of the HLPF, with the final rounds of negotiations on Post-2015 (hopefully) concluding the week after the FfD3 Conference.

As ever, this will be an incredibly important time for us to come together in our advocacy around TAP issues, and we look forward to working more closely with all of you in helping carve out the entry points and inputs into these key processes as we take things forward.

Best Regards,
TAP Coordinators
John & Liam
