2015 in Review

The dress code was quite relaxed at our first (but not last!)
Pajama Dance Party in January.

Our spring production series at
Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts was a terrific success!

Rockstar ballet teacher Amanda Burton Pinilli gave birth to her son, Ethan Mateo. Look at that sweet, little face!

KidGlyde of Dynamic Rockers fame and CKDS teaching artist welcomed a daughter, Truly Jolie.
She definitely lives up to her name!

Artistic Director Cynthia King was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award from the Boston Conservatory in May 2015 and subsequently established
the Cynthia King
Humane Artist Scholarship.

Our dancers introduced two new lines of Cynthia King Vegan Ballet Slippers,
the Activiste and Pro-Line,
at the AFS Cruetly-Free Fashion Show
in Manhattan.

Ballerinas Against Bull Hooks continued to protest the
ever-present animal cruelty
in the circus.
We received 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsorship, launching our new performance branch, FRAMED. We kicked off the series with our
inaugural in-house show,
The Nutcracker in a Nutshell.
Make a tax-deductible donation today to make future performances possible.
From all of us at CKDS to you,
thank you for your tireless support.

Here's to an incredible 2016!
And as always, don't forget to...
