Hi Edgewater,

Over the next two weeks we've got some great walking and biking events lined up in Edgewater. Be sure to save the date - it's the perfect way to meet your neighbors and enjoy the outdoors in our community this summer:

Thursday, July 16 - Urban Foragers on Two Wheels with The Recyclery and The Rose Rider Garden Group
Sunday, July 19 - Bicycle Earring Making Workshop & Bike Ride with The Recyclery
Wednesday, July 22 - Green & Blue Edge Walk with EDC and EESP (ending with a special tour of Uncommon Ground)
Friday, July 31 - Edgewater Ice Cream Stroll to Berger Park

Thanks to those who came to the 30-Minute Walking Club this morning in Andersonville. If you'd like to join future morning walks, send an email to and we'll let you know when the next walk is planned.

We leave you with a fun video from People for Bikes called Shed The Monster. By building walking and biking into your daily life (when you run errands, on your way to work or school, visiting the beach, etc), you'll be a better version of you.
