Happy holidays!  We're excited to share more about what's happening in and around the White house during this most wonderful time of year...
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
An unexpected snowstorm in Georgia this past weekend really put me in the holiday spirit!  Quincy, especially, loved frolicking in the snow with his sister, and looked quite dapper in his gray cable knit sweater don’t you think?
Sentimental Favorites
If you’re like me, unpacking the Christmas ornaments is like taking a stroll down memory lane and is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season.  I thought I’d share a few of my favorite ornaments with you--exquisite memories captured in glass or handcrafted in paper--of our travels as a family, my kids and career and of course, my fur babes.
My Favorite Things

I’ve recently discovered an old school product that worked wonders on bringing my front doors back to life and wanted to share with you. I have a beautiful set of double doors on my home that were beginning to look old, tired and faded by the harsh Georgia sun. The search for a cure was found in the back of my cleaning cabinet, Old English Scratch Cover for Dark Wood. It’s a product my grandmother used on her beautiful cherry furniture and she swore by it. So I thought I’d give it a try and the result was no less than spectacular!  I, too, am now a raving fan of this product! (Not a paid endorsement!)
Your Favorite Karen White Quote
I love it when I hear from readers with a quote or passage that touched your heartstrings. Won’t you take a moment and share your favorite line from one of my novels?  Click here.
Sheep in Red Bows
Right down the street in the real "Sweet Apple" where I call home, there's a small farm with sheep. During the holidays, the owners adorn them in red bows. I just adore seeing them!
Ready for "Christmas Vacation"

Our family tradition to kick off the holiday season is to watch "Christmas Vacation."  We now have memorized all the dialogue!

I hope that you, too, have a chance to gather with family and friends, to laugh and enjoy the beauty of the season--and maybe read a good book or two. Thanks for your ongoing support and being an extension of the White Family.  I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for us…

Last But Not Least

Don't judge, but my favorite Christmas present for 2016 was not gold, or jewelry, or a fabulous trip to Tahiti. Instead, it was this little gem of a space heater that keeps my fingers nimble for writing during the brutal Georgia winters.  My sweet husband knows me so well...
