Hello Dear Readers,

My reader community is one of the great blessings of my life! When I shared earlier this month that my beloved pup, Quincy, had crossed over the rainbow bridge, you immediately responded with sympathy and compassion—a balm for my broken heart.  Your words brought such comfort and no doubt, put me on the path to healing.  I read each and every word and can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind and wise words of encouragement and support.

Quincy was my first dog, my constant companion for 15 years.  He was the inspiration for General Lee in the Tradd Street series; you will see another version of him in THE SHOP ON ROYAL STREET.  Many of you loved him, too--I could tell by reading your comments whenever his handsome, furry face would appear in this newsletter or on social media.

I have lots of other exciting and fun news to share with you in this newsletter—including a few tickets are still available for my Tradd Street Weekend in Charleston in October!  So please read on…

But before we get to that, please allow me to share a few of my favorites photos of my first canine love, Quincy White, my best friend and writing companion.

Thank you again for being amazing.

Happy reading,
Karen

P.S. For those of you worrying about Sophie Belle, she is adjusting and doing just fine.  After a few days of moping around, I'm happy to report she is back to her usual spunky, fun self.
My handsome boy, Quincy
