Autumn at the House of Mica Peace Chamber
Autumn time is harvest time. It is a time to reap the results of all our work. So many people feel that the past year involved a lot of really hard work.
So, let's relax and party!
Saturday, November 5th, 6-9 pm
Party in the upstairs of the new Barn
with the musical trio of
Bryan Brundige and the Piggly Wigglies
Rick and Elisa heard Bryan's trio play several times in Albany over the last few months and their music is fun, infectious and definitely party-worthy. Trombone, bass, acoustic guitar and vocals with lots of improv will leave you feeling like you are in the roaring 50s or in a down-home club in the French Quarter of New Orleans or at a community swing dance party way off the beaten track. You will smile, tap your feet and, if you swing dance, might even want to get up and dance. And, by the way, on the upper floor of the barn there is lots of room to dance. If you don't believe us, check our Bryan's website
and listen to a song or two.
This party is also a fund raiser for the House of Mica. A cover charge of $10 or more will help us cover House of Mica Peace Chamber expenses and be able to continue to invite all to attend events without regardless of ability to offer give-away.
Come with your friends. Bring your children, bring your mother or your Aunt Sophia or Uncle Charlie. We will have food so you can come for dinner, snacks or beverages.
We'd love to see everyone!
