Divide or move perennials.
Cut back summer flowering perennials and prune any dead leaves on evergreen perennials.
Cut back ornamental grasses to about 6″.
Pull young weeds and apply pre-emergent once to help prevent future seeds from growing.
Start begonias, dahlias, and other tubers indoors for earlier blooms.
Stone fruits should be treated for coryneum blight. (Cherries, Peaches, Nectarines, Apricot and Plums.)
Treat apple trees for powdery mildew as leaves emerge and until June.
Glover insider information
We have a new product line packed with benefits for the Utah gardener, 'Green as it Gets'. For those of you with salty, alkaline soils or with secondary water (that is almost everyone along the Wasatch Front), you should begin each Spring with these products. We love 'Ground Breaker' when used with 'GardenMax' or 'TurfMax' according to the label directions.  These two compost-like products provide everything your plants and lawn need to thrive. Check out their website for more information on this amazing product line.

April 22 is Your Chance to Win an At Last® Rose Bush
Earth Day is April 22nd, 2017.  Join us at Glover Nursery to celebrate!  We have partnered with Proven Winners to give away 50 At Last®Rose Bushes.  Our doors open at 8am, the first 50 people to ask about the At Last® Rose will receive one, compliments of Proven Winners.  Limit of one rose bush per family.  First come, first served.
The At Last® Rose Bush combines all the romance of a fragrant, fully-petaled tea rose with the no-nonsense practicality of a disease-resistant landscape rose. No spraying is required to enjoy a non-stop display of large, sweetly perfumed sunset-orange blossoms from late spring through frost.
