Eat Pray Dean CF Madness ticket sales through August 31

The CF Madness event will be our largest event this year!  Now through August 31, we will sell 1000 tickets at $10 each (you can purchase as many as you would like). Each ticket has a number between 000-999.

The numbers that win are the Illinois Lottery Pick 3 EVENING drawing for each day in September 2020 (not including the Fireball number). If your ticket number is the winning number for that evening, you will receive $100. Your ticket goes back in and you can win again and again (if the number repeats itself throughout the month)! Winning numbers will be posted here.

If you would like to join in the Madness:
  1. Venmo $10 per number (@EatPrayDean). The venmo comment should be EPDMadness. Contact us if you do not have venmo and we will let you know other options.
  2. We will contact everyone in the order they purchase after recording your entry to choose the numbers. All of the numbers are posted on this spreadsheet and the green ones are already chosen
  3. Please share with your family and friends and help us continue to raise money during 2020. There is also a public Facebook event where you can invite your friends here.

THANK YOU!

Quick Dean Update

His last clinic appointment was back in July and he will soon be getting a home spirometer to start taking measurements in lieu of a clinical pulmonary function test. X-rays actually improved (huge win) from last year and his final culture showed only norma flora. Slightly elevated liver enzymes due to Symdeko (the modulator/med that he is on) but next week we go for another round of labs to check them again. This is probably Dean's worst part of CF, having countless vials of blood taken but we try to make the best of it and make the day special some how. Last week he received a new piece of airway clearance equipment, the Afflovest so he can be more mobile with his treatments (instead of being tethered by 3 ft tubes to a compressor). With mobility comes a little more independence and choices as to where he does his treatments. It's a HUGE freedom for him. The tech was here delivering and explaining it in the middle of 100 miles per hour winds and a power outage.  It couldn't have been more perfect to have a new battery operated Vest to keep his lungs safe - and thanks to Integrated Respiratory Solutions for having the foresight to fully charge the battery before delivering - because the power stayed off for the next 24 hours. God works in the best ways! Baseball season continues and our WildThing is loving it! xo
