Latest on Dean

Dean is loving 5th grade and his basketball team and waiting patiently for football to start. We had a minor setback as the modulator med he was on for the last year was causing his liver enzymes to peak higher than his doc was comfortable with. We’ve adjusted the dosage of the med and continue to stay on top of the blood work to determine next steps. On the outside, as usual, you cannot tell what is happening; CF is such an invisible disease. He maintains his amazing positive attitude and just literally enjoys every single day. He doesn’t have much on his Christmas list this year but, like his sis, is saving for and hoping for an Australian labradoodle therapy dog. 😯
