HELP KEEP THE LIBRARY SAFE FOR EVERYONE!

The Library Board determined that effective 2-22-22, masks will no longer be required for everyone entering the Library.  Persons over 2 years of age  not fully vaccinated should wear masks.  Please continue to use hand sanitizer and continue to socially distance where possible.  Staff may request you wear a mask if close contact is needed, i.e., assistance finding a book, assistance using the computer, etc.  If you MUST come in while feeling ill, you must wear a mask.  We continue to offer curbside service when requested.  This policy is subject to change without notice.

Digital Valley Center was created to preserve, showcase and make available for public examination and enjoyment, historical photos and documents from the early days of Valley Center, Kansas, the Progressive Women’s Club, and the Valley Center Public Library.  The 1887 Official Atlas of the State of Kansas digitization project is undertaken in partnership with the City of Valley Center, the Friends of the Library, the South Central Kansas Library System, and a grant from Menocause: Ignite Valley Center. We will continue to add pages to our collection on Digital Valley Center.
