Reminder - Please check your books for personal items before returning!
Many personal items (check stubs, tickets, boarding passes, medical information, currency, pictures, cherished bookmarks, cards, etc.) get left in books every day.  Help reduce staff time spent on contacting patrons regarding these items, protect your privacy, and ensure you items are not lost forever by quickly checking through your books before you drop them off.
It's Fall TRIBE Party time. The TRIBE is the Tween and Teen group here at the Library. Our Fall TRIBE Party will feature Minute to Win it style games and more. (shhhhh there will be prizes)
Party will be Friday November 4th from 5:30pm to 7pm here inside the Library.
This is a free event, no reservations required.

Digital Valley Center was created to preserve, showcase and make available for public examination and enjoyment, historical photos and documents from the early days of Valley Center, Kansas, the Progressive Women’s Club, and the Valley Center Public Library.  The 1887 Official Atlas of the State of Kansas digitization project is undertaken in partnership with the City of Valley Center, the Friends of the Library, the South Central Kansas Library System, and a grant from Menocause: Ignite Valley Center. We will continue to add pages to our collection on Digital Valley Center.

Check back frequently to enjoy this look at Kansas in the late 1800s!  Find the website at:
