“Let us rise up and build.”

We had an amazing week hosting around 75 pastors and leaders on the Bible College campus for our first annual Hosanna! Pastors and Leaders conference here in Cajamarca, Peru. Many people from all over Peru and Ecuador came to be encouraged, fed (spiritually and physically), and enjoy fellowship among other pastors, missionaries and servants.

It was just an incredible few days, and we had a ton of positive feedback that people were blessed, refreshed, and strengthened for the work in South America. Everyone can't wait for next year!

One of the main themes seemed to be the understanding that more than building a wall, God wants to build up His people. I think God did that among His leaders, and we are looking forward to the fruit that comes from this in the local churches in Cajamarca, Cusco, Iquitos, Lima, Cuenca, and many others.

I had the privilege of teaching Nehemiah 6, and I really felt God leading me to share what God had been doing in me personally to strengthen me in the work he has called me to, and encourage our leaders to remain firm in God's calling even as the enemy attacks. Just as Nehemiah refused to be distracted from the work because he knew he was doing a great work, we know that God has called us to the same!

We will end with this shot of all of us looking up, eagerly awaiting the return of our Lord Jesus. Until then, Hosanna! May God save and disciple many in South America, and thank you for continuing to labor with us in prayer.

Also, Please pray as we start both our Spanish and International semester this Sunday with students from Peru, Colombia, Belize, Canada, and the United States.
